Small pleasures

Last night we were giving you boys a bath and I just stopped and stare at you both for a while...you were having so much fun w each other, splashing water all around, asking for more bubles, more bubles. We make daily bath time really fun every day!

We have found wonderful friends in San Antonio - Erica e Fabricio Teixeira sao os pais do Enzo = Rafa's best friend that is in his class at Primrose School. Rafa and Enzo love to play w each other and they even look alike! Erica is expecting another baby boy:)
Melissa Barnett and David Sonetti did their internal medicine residency w me and we are neighboors! They have Alex and Melissa is expecting baby Ava who will be born at anytime now...
Holly Wyder and Derek are the parents to Sophia, also Rafa's age and really close birthdays - in fact, Rafa's first birthday was celebrated together w Sophia's first birthday at the Gymboree Gym! Rafa's first Halloween was also w Sophia - he was a little lion:)
Lucas was a zebra on his first Halloween which was celebrated w the Kemptoms (Cory and Tammy); Cory did his residency w me also. They have the cutest girl Bella (3y old) and little Kellen was just born! Bella, Alex and Rafa had swimming classes together!

November 2009 -Thanksgiving at home!

Thanksgiving was so special w Lyna, Jake, Sofia, Gaby, Rocio and grandma Ayala staying w us! Tio Victor, Monica, Richard (grandma's cousin) and claro Titia also came and we had a wonderful family time!! Rafa was in love w Sofia and wanted her to play w him the whole time!! Gaby also taught Rafa how to play hide and seek for the first time in his life!!
Since it is close to Jake's and mine's bd we also celebrated our bds!

October - Vovo Vera e Grandma Ayala came to visit!

October 2009, Vovo Vera e Gradma Ayala came to visit and take care of the boys while I went to ACR in Philadelphia x5days and papi Victor also came for the weekend to stay w me and visit his childhood friend Raul Rojas. The boys had a great time w the avuelitas!!

September 2009 was a busy month!

It was Lucas First Birthday and we took the boys to South Padre Island to the beach. It was awesome!! Mama Ayala stayed w us in a condo right at the beach and Tio York w his family stayed in another condo! We bought this huge camping tent and really enjoyed the beach! The boys loved it!! Rafa did not want to get out of the water - he was a mini fish, was not scared at all!! I also visited a clinic down in McAllen when I was there w Dr. Elvin Garcia and he took the whole family on his boat to see the dolphins!! Mama Ayala made the cutest "boat" cake personalized to Lucas!
Then when we came back we had another party for Lucas in San Antonio at the Gymboree Gym (like Rafa's) and it was great!! Lucas had a lot of fun!!
