Feb 2014 - Basketball season at YMCA - so fun!! about 6 friends from soccer all together!

2013 summary 2 birthdays do Rafa e Lucas foram aqui em casa com um magician! Julho para as ferias - soccer camp at UTSA, portuguese camp in Austin, and the Spanish camp Agosto 2013 voces foram para a Disney com a vovo Vera, vovo Milton, grandma Ayala, Sofia and Gaby!! Para o Natal, fomos com o tio Ric, tia Carla, vovo e vovo para Cancun!!

Faz mto tempo...soccer season is on again, Rafa started Taekendo and kinder. Tudo otimo, vcs estao indo super bem na escola. Nova moda pra voces ee um jogo do Wii q se chama Skylanders. Thanksgiving foi animado with Lyna, Jake and the girls, who played with you constantly! Grandma cooked a beautiful meal!

Many events have happened...fomos ao Rio para o niver do Rafa de 5 anos e com a familia fomos para Angra, club Med. Foi maravilhoso!

Soccer Season

Como o tempo passa rapido...ja estamos em Novembro, quase no final da soccer season at YMCA. O Lucas tem o proprio time, the Blue Dinosaurs, e tem jogado mto bem!
O Rafa esta na terceira season com o time chamado Sharks e adoramos as familias e o coach Sergio Casas!!

moving

May and June 2011 we were moving from de zavala to seekers....lots of work! Vcs estao gostando da casa nova.
July 4th grandma, lyna, Jake, Sofia and gaby came to visit. Uncle Vic too! We all went to fiesta Texas!!! So hot but it wad awesome!!!!!

Estamos procurando por casa nova, lots of visits to houses and you all have been great! "vamos ver casa mamae?"
Grandma is here and we started to pack our house...Rafa is about to be 4 and we all can't wait to go to Disney!

Outro dia estavamos falando da viagem pro Brasil (foi em Junho 2010 e estamos em Jan 2011) e Lucas (com 2 anos de idade) falou: fomos a praia com vovo, vovo, BIVO...ele se lembrou do bisavo Milton!!! Fiquei emocionada!!
O Lucas tb mudou a musica do Barney: amo voce, voce me ama, somos uma familia feliz...ele canta: somos uma FAMILIZ!!!! How cute!!!
Rafa ee tao carinhoso q tenta defender o Lucas qd ele faz algo errado..."mami, ele nao fez de proprosito". Voces brigam mto mas tb brincam mto juntos!!!!
Amo mto voces!!!!!

Jan 2011

Entry from Papai: Oi queridos meninos. This month Rafa started with the YMCA Little Dribblers program, with the junior size basketball. Lucas was thrilled to go to Academy so that he too could have his own ball for the 2nd practice. At 3+, Rafa's Portuguese is impressive. Today Rafa requested my cell phone to talk to Mamai and asked, "Como foi sua dia Mamai?" Very thoughtful. At school both have your moments that award you a "Happy Gram"... Lucas has received a couple for pulling out a chair for his teacher to sit in before lunch time. Rafa has shared toys with friends.

December 2010 - late entry

December was wonderful! Best gift was my parents visit! The kids loooved vovo e vovó.
We all went to forth worth to spend Christmas - Sofia and gaby played w u so much! The trampoline was a hit!!! How precious is the gift of family!!!!!

Lucas trying to fall asleep...it takes about 1hour, and he is almost closing his eyes, after 3 books (one always O Trenzinho do Nicolau que voce ja sabe decor) - you stand up and start jumping on the bed and singing: " 5 little monkeys jumping on the bed...". Also you blow bubbles on mommy's tummy and make me laugh, laugh laugh...

soccer

Rafa joined YMCA soccer team for 3year olds! It's so fun! Today you blocked about 3 goals...but at this age no goleiros are allowed:)

port aransas

We went to Port Arkansas for the Labor day holiday. Enzo and his family went also. It was wonderful!
You both loved the beach, playing in the sand and water! We saw a pelican about 5 feet from us. We saw fish jumping out of the water. We played soccer. We made/attempted a sand castle.
In the afternoon we would go to the pool!
I love spending time w my 3 boys! What a blessing! It was even better w Enzo there!

away from you

I had to go to san francisco for a board review course. It was a 3 day course, but it felt like 30! I missed so much! I watched my phone videos w you playing!! Since I have not written in a long time, I will update what happened in the last 2 months.
Rafa had swimming lessons twice a wk and you did great! Went from no head under the water, to full head under and almost swimming by yourself!
Lucas has grown so much that you are not a baby anymore. You love to sing!
You also love to make huge trains...
I have been busy planning your second bd! It will be fun!
Amo tanto voces!!!

Vacations

It is already June 2010 and we are in Brazil!! We came on the 17th to Rio and after 13h travelling w a 3y old and a 1.5y old we were exhausted - and you boys had a lot of energy still since you slept most of the flight...thanks for behaving!
Then 1 people from Rio: vovo, vovo, ric, carla, tia Fe, tio jean, bruna, tia janete, mama ayala, e nos 4, total de 13 pessoas viemos pra Fortaleza! We went to Beach Park com umas 30 pessoas da familia, incluindo seus priminhos: leozinho, bianca, marcela, artur, mais a sara e a taira! Foi tao legal!! Voces adoraram tudo la!!
E agora viemos pra Fleixeiras (guarajiru) que e um paraiso!!! Ate of Bivo (yourt greatgrandpa) Milton came!! So much fun - the beach is wonderful, white sand, palm trees, and the love of family surround you!!
I hope to take lots of pictures so you can remember some of this amazing times!

I got daddy a jogging stroller w double seats for you boys. We have used it a lot! Last Sunday am - since you both wake up by 5:45am - we took you both to a trail close to our house that is super long and nice. There is pond there where we see turtles and ducks and you both just love it! Last Sunday Rafa also wanted to run...you were quite good!!
The trail is next to a park and since it was still early in am, we had the park for the 4 of us! Lots of good fun!
I hope you both run so well like your daddy! Not only run, I pray that you both are just like your father, bc he is truly wonderful in every way!!!

Small pleasures

Last night we were giving you boys a bath and I just stopped and stare at you both for a while...you were having so much fun w each other, splashing water all around, asking for more bubles, more bubles. We make daily bath time really fun every day!
